Just a simple message from an ordinary woman who celebrates life.

Tomorrow's Worth Fighting For

Remember jumping through sprinklers
catching fireflies,
lying down in fields of clover
watching clouds drift by?
Those lazy days of summer
how quickly they did pass,
leaving behind its innocence
years move along so fast.
How sweet it is to remember
our youth and days of glory,
like the chapters of a book
of never ending story.
Just because they're memories
doesn't mean we can't make more,
yesterday may be gone
but tomorrow's worth fighting for.

We can still run naked in the rain! Unfortunately, if our neighbors see us, we could go to jail. People don't seem to like adults behaving like children anymore. What a shame!

Yesterday is gone, don't cry over it, the future hasn't happened yet so we can't do anything about it, but today is ours to do with what we will.
