How quickly the years pass, I'm so grateful for every day and every dream of tomorrow.

 Here Today Gone Tomorrow

Here today gone tomorrow
the tide rolls in and drifts away,
they'll be moments of joy
times of sorrow every soul
will eventually face.
What the future has in store
we cannot see nor imagine,
dreams fuel our hope
giving us strength
creating love and compassion.
It's not about you but
what you give
plant a seed and watch it grow,
discover the reason
you were chosen
to be part of this life
you treasure so.
Here today gone tomorrow
is a reality it's true ,
life is a gift
every precious moment
someone somewhere
gave to you.

I love the idea that life is a gift to cherish and nurture regardless what path it takes us on. Uplifting and thoughtful.

Nicely penned. Treasure every moment... indeed. Shorter each day... moments... they flit away; like wings of butterflies, so softly you rarely even notice... until they're gone. sigh. -- Jeff
