The Butterfly 

Dancing in the glimmer of the afternoon glow

gliding ever so gracefully as warm winds blow

Her colors emulate the rainbow's mystique 

so full of life though her presence is brief

I often wonder was she cast from above

are there souls on her wings sending us love

hope that death is not the end

proof life is renewed and born again
