The Elixir in the cistern, it’s fragrance...
That’s laid inside my compound wall -
Of the beautiful garden;
With the lush green vine going up the coconut trunks –
And the palms sheltering the locals ,
Like the temple within a holy city , or a home within a house:
The Elixir that perforates out, attracts the unknown ;
Like Esther’s beauty which is so rare, so delicate and pure :
That makes the living care, to safeguard their bloodline
To mate and multiply, Its kind till fame –
Touches thou lips and attracts glory and appreciation for thine uniqueness,
Which is Obscure in fertility of the diversifying creation, whilst protected by some
To prevent extinction!
Love in thy eyes, a gulp of my mouth –
Croaks like a frog , seeking whereabouts.
But, I cling to the thought that “ This is home.”
And look into that cistern that reflects the toad .
That’s the moment, a dreading thought occurs to me –
Afraid to forsake for eternity until change takes thy throne :
“ Am I the only one Around !!! “
“Am I the only one!!”
“Am I? “
“Am.... I ...”
