Just written today.

IT SITS ALONE IN THE GARDEN

How sad is this statue?

Tears dripping down its body.

It sits alone in the garden.

A heart frozen to its core.

Its eyes closed in sadness.

For a savior long and gone.

It sits alone in the garden.

Waiting for help from beyond.

Tears fall ever so slowly.

Freezing close to the ground.

It sits alone in the garden.

Its silent sighs in the wind.

It bows its head in prayer.

For a savior not found.

It sits alone in the garden.

No one else around.

He/she certainly is alone and I might add, out in the cold! Those are frozen feet if I ever saw them. Not only is it cold enough to create icicles dripping off of her/his toes, it's cold enough for those feet to be cast in cold metal, rigid so as to never move again like rigor mortis. What a sad situation, indeed.

I'm still trying to figure out if it's a man or a woman. I think it's a woman's foot, pining for a lost love. Men don't pine as well.

He/She has a hell of a problem it seems. That picture gives me the willy-jeebies, and that's a fact. Brrr!

I've heard of having hot feet, but this guy has a cold sole.
