PERSISTENCE OF NATURE

Nature persists.

It soldiers on.

It rears its head

in the most unlikely places.

No matter the obstacles.

It thrives.

It flourishes.

Despite us.

This reminds me of the lichen which grew on granite in Finland. The cemeteries would have many reindeer eating this off the monuments and on granite shooting out of the ground here and there. It would grow in thick bunches. I was amazed. Your lovely words took me there. Thanks!

Love ya!

Jane

It's persistent alright, you have to look no further than plants busting through concrete or asphalt. If left alone, nature will reclaim what we have taken from her.

Indeed, how true. I have noticed that in the desert, where flowers bloom from rock and stone, from cactus and dune. A miracle.

Wonderful poetic thoughts. Flowers are indescribable. Imagine if you traveled to another planet and tried to describe why flowers are so revered. That could be another book! LOL
