MISSING YOU

I miss you,

dear brother.

So many years

have passed

without you.

Without you to

share my adventures,

my happiness,

my sorrows.

Life has been lackluster

without you.

It’s been missing a

vital ingredient.

It’s been missing you.

I have three brothers I miss. It hasn't been that long since they have passed and I still feel the sorrow. Then, I think their spirits are here with me. That's another story! 'Enjoyed!

Love ya!

Ah, it must be hard to lose a brother or a sister, Someone whom we have shared our lives with since birth. At Christmas time it's worse I'm sure. Praying you have a wonderful Christmas in the knowledge that your loved one is rejoicing in heaven at the sight of this poem. Love never dies, it only changes form, the older we get , it becomes the norm, sad but true, Hugs for you xo

Very, very sad poetry. You say it like it is to miss someone dear. They leave a hole which can never be truly filled.

I know of this loss and you have written of it so well, myself I am the last dinosaur

When we lose a loved one, we always lose a part of us, and despite what the experts say, there is no real closure for us. Time dulls the hurt, but it's always there just below the surface.
Best wishes to you and have a Merry Christmas.

You have expressed your loss very well. Thankfully my brothers and sister are still intact and in touch.

Missing people, whether mother, father, sister or brother is a lingering painful experience as you quietly allude to here in this poem.
