Populating the Earth
Maybe it's crass or a bit off color
how God got you here from there
If it weren't for all the sickness and battles
only standing room on earth would be clear
Early in times we were worlds apart
vast oceans quelled passage of thought
Now with all the vastness of technology
there are those who feel life can be bought
World peace, world trade, and world thoughts
is the course of 2000 and beyond
The world is spinning at a rapid pace
together we must form a bond
Hand in hand creates human net works
each of us have the same reason to be here
We can no longer pull in different directions
we can no longer have one pilot to steer
I am fortunate to start the 2000 millennium
also astonished the distance we came
If the past is any indication of the future
I think the world will slowly tame
I can feed the world as a farmer
there is only so much going round
Every one needs to get off their bottom
food for the average person may not be found
