Plans Of My Own
If I died tomorrow
it wouldn't bother me
The life I towed on this old earth
was as full as life could be
Walking this Christian road through time
I see heaven as my home
Tho I have so many deeds to do
I'm not homesick but if God just phoned
The answering machine ready for recording
in case God decides to call
Then I look ahead to my life here-after
when I was needed after all
I have plans I consider important
do my plans have a credence to impede
Things we never finished in a life time
can we come back with God's speed
Leaving at a time with things left to be done
not securing loose ends on the way
Maybe I'll be back as an unsung Angel
serenading to keep those hearts at bay
May my spirit be as big as life it's self
relieving worries acquired by time
Just smile for your heart will reward you
this love for you is mine
