her cricking toe..



I never can,
remember a time when I ever laughed wi’ her,
nor if I ever held her hand.

Did I ever
smile words o’ love into her mouth
an’ become tongue tied ?

Small things like
eyelids carressing in the dark and
her exhaling breath upon my cheek.

Did I ever explore the contours o’ her beauty
wi’ my poet lips and die for the
sound o’ her cricking toe.
