The bleeding rose
Speaks her pain
It captures the essence
Of life on this plane
Life is beauty
But life is pain
You try to run
As you go insane
The thorns they scrape
And rip and tear
Her body and mind scarred
Forever by fear
Fear of herself
Fear of the unknown
Fear of forever
Being shown
Shown things she cannot change
People she cannot save
She forever watches
Them put in their graves
If she can't save herself
But could save someone else
Then the pain she endures
Would be worthwhile and pure
The pain she feels
That nobody knows
She endures
By watching as her blood flows
She hides her scars
So nobody knows
She hides behind
Her bleeding rose
