A man stands alone in the alleyway at night.

His thoughts and feelings are forced to fight,

As the darkness drowns him during the full moon sight.

A flickering light hangs over head.

Casting his shadow amongst the pavement that sits.

His mind being consumed with emotions of lost,

Attempting to battle them at all cost.

Starring blankly into the night, watching the shadows slowly creep in.

Frozen in fear of the monsters that lurk.

Knowing they are waiting with those thoughts that are berserk.

The shine of the light slowly fading out, as the creatures that linger start to grow bigger.

The darkness consumes the light, where a man once stood in the alleyway at night.
