Mistakes can be fixed if two people really love each other.

The wind comes up
Howling
Through the empty pines
It's winter now,
Cold, Cruel,
Full of wild regret
Just listen!
The wind of confusion
Blowing through your mind
Your passion
Like a clinging vine
Told you it was him
Lonely girl - Listen closely
To the river of sorrow
Running through the rocks
It's the same river
That stole you from me

Now it tells me - I'll be
Lonely like a fallen star
Wondering through the wilderness
Without you, but I will never
Forget you, or your lovely smile

Nor will the memory of you
Ever fade from my heart
Or my view

Love your poem Ron. Especially the lines,

"Now it tells me - I'll be
Lonely like a fallen star
Wondering through the wilderness"

They're very visual as is

"Running through the rocks"

Good use of similies/metaphors.

I love your poem.It has a quaint way of telling of lost love and how the other party will also be lonely because of a mistake. It seems to have come from the heart. Good pen.
