Comes what of it

Barren grounds …
War fields

Bodies cover—toxic
Waste of hearts

Landfills of people—lost—
Spilling grounds

Poured on the earth
Moist sinew—it dries

So killed so dead

For times lay they dormant
So forgotten and left

Their energy restrained, secretly

A moment will come
The soil will nourish them

How they flourish
A start rips through;

The land can only
share a taste of its flavor

Spirit moves, ever, close

Bursting life buds
