A friend poet and friend of a friend

“Juanito”

Juanito!

> Catch hold life's joy … explore its infinite space.)

Got your wings ready, yet—
Set!
Get ready—
Go—
Fly!

> Jump. quickened. amidst the mesh of life's turning!)

Like the fuffling hearts of
Dragon Friend
Don't stop—never stop
Land on planets and moons for cool
Whirl in sunshine's showering warmth—
Flap freely to galaxies, and play
Don't stop … never go away

> Hither and thither; share the happiness you are—
catch the nexus of boisterous stars—animate the love of life lanes.)

Lots and lots of energy waits
Just pull the backup-energy chain
Set! Ready!
Go!
Into this new light bends time
Dive, deep, into dream's water, and splash
Sharp your wings—dive
Feel the paced air of, sleekly, angled wings—
Flex them, quickly, out

> Brace, strongly, against the stops, and push back the wind, my friend.)

Feel the sudden rush—sudden
Motion change
Blood's vigorous rush in veins

> Thickened or thinned, flap eagerly against the wind … meet earth softly.)

Touch down on earth's
Dance of grasses—count the
Rhythmic train of heart beats—gaining

> on the edge of falling stars)

Closer and step
Soundly
Standing—sharp the wings
Juanito!
Get set … ready!
