Inside OUT

 "Inside OUT"




caressing glass
wings

On the outside
looking into your
cloudy thickening, ill feeling
glass scales

Your fiery breath contacts
my soul's sanctuary, though, 
births a confused fire… 
will it warm or burn me as
I am restored -- as I stream peace like waterfalls
into your channels

On the inside
I am a heartful dreamer 
I am devoted to simplify --
to solve -- to collect
our pieces
I am tickled to wish
as hell pours into us
blindly imagining you smiling
in serene water --

! I missed something… ?!
! Was I streaming deliriously…?! 

On the outside 
I am a heartful dreamer 
I am devoted to simplify --
to solve -- to collect our pieces
I am tickled to wish
as hell pours into us
blindly imagining you smiling
in serene water --

On the outside 
I lay on blessed green pastures, not near water, though,
I'll move indefinitely towards you -- 

! I missed something !

Sometimes, even when we turn ourselves inside out for others to see, they still won't understand the person we are. Great thought-provoking piece of poetry.

The way you have crafted this rendition is completely intriguing , for me it brings up many thoughts of how many times I have been completely wrong about a persons character and yet inevitably attracted to them, your images are powerful , they stand out.
