Poetry Without A Reason

Tall, dark, wise
They are all words used to describe
If they don't fit I cannot say why
As shadowed figures of light pass by
If nothing comes of this please say
Then nothing of it shall come this way
And so you see I cannot tell
For what you do you do so well
In the end we all shall see
What is to come is meant to be.

I have no idea why I wrote this...

Poetry drips like from a faucet. We can not control where the water spatters. Only that we are the faucet.

It is kinda sad, when someone feels bad about rhyme.
Sensible or nonsensical. It's like they've lost that part of their being that likes fun, spontaneity, and take themselves far too seriously..

Susan, that was exactly the point. Thanks for your "compliment" :)

Andy, I am a fun person! I just like stiring the pot a bit!

This in no way should be taken as a put down to those who
can create beautifully rhythmiclly rhyming poetry.
It’s just that I can’t stand a rhyme for the sake of itself.

I'm so confused!! This is a perfect example of a rhyming verse that simply does not flow or make sense! (I cannot believe that this review is a compliment! It sure doesn't sound like it! (: )

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
