It's seven-fifteen
The alarm clock rings
I go in the kitchen
I drink some coffee
I'm running late
I pour the liquid into a travel mug
The steam fogs up the car's windshield
I drink hot coffee
I get to work
I'm still half asleep
A paper cup drops from a machine
I drink more coffee
I sit at my desk
I'm hating life
I check my e-mail
I drink even more coffee
I'm now awake
In fact I'm wired up
I need to pee
I still drink more coffee
I leave my desk
Run to the men's room
Then, go back to my cup
I drink more coffee
It's time for lunch
I order a number two
Two cheeseburgers, one fry, and a drink
I drink my coffee
The rest of the day goes by so slow
It's now four-thirty
I head for home
I drink cold coffee
I say to myself;
I can stop anytime
Still, what an addicted fool you are!
As I drink some coffee

From one caffeine addict to another, this is really a good fix, loved the way you presented the day of a coffee addict with such clarity that I can almost see the person going through an ordinary coffee filled day...good work!
