She waits patiently
She looks at you lazily
She bides her time

You’re just barely out of her reach
She slowly reaches from under the bed
She’ll patiently wait for you to be in reach
Her paw is all the way out from under the bed

She tries to get you to see how far she can reach
She can’t reach far enough you’re barely out of her reach
She slowly pulls her paw back under the bed
She can wait for you all day under the bed

She doesn’t care who you are
She just wants to play all day long
She reaches again and gives you a tickle
You jump in fright and look down as you giggle

You get down on your hands and knees
You reach under the bed and give her a pet
She paws at your hand and purrs loudly
You fish her out from under the bed

You give her a hug and a kiss on the nose
She continues to purr as she plays with your nose
She gives you a lick and starts to kick
You put her down on the ground
Monster cat’s at it again

She takes off and finds a new place
She’ll wait for you again in her new place
You hear a shriek and go running
You start laughing hysterically as you realize
