A very good friend of mine wrote a poem in her youth called “Night”. This is my response.

Never apart, always together
We stand side-by-side
Friends we are, till the end
We stand side-by-side
Through bad weather
Through bad times
Through good times
We stand side-by-side
Never apart, always together
We stand side-by-side
Together we can do anything
Apart we will die
Never apart, always together
We stand side-by-side
