She sits and cries
Her eyes won’t go dry
She stares out the window
Watching the world go by
She wonders what went wrong
She wonders how she will get by
She tries to get it out of her
She tries to dry her eyes
10 years later, she sits and cries
Her eyes won’t go dry
She stares out the window
Watching the world go by
She figured out what went wrong
She found out how to get by
Now she is just thankful
But then why does she cry?
She got her true love back
Now they stand side-by-side
They are happy together
Even when they barely skate by
Times might get rough
Money might run dry
But as long as they are together
Her eyes will get dry
Her and her love together
Watching the world go by
