I'm just in one of those Soul Bearing moods. Little piece of high school from a stoner/geek's point of view.
Scariest movie I’ve ever seen?
High School, real life is scarier
If only the teachers had seen
One third of the things that went on.
They would have been horrified at half the things I’ve seen
Guns, drugs, sex in the halls, disease, smoking in the bathroom all went on
They all went on unnoticed
How did all of this go on?
Without our protectors noticing
Wish I knew
When I told about the gun
They laughed in my face
So when it was waved all I did was run
I didn’t try to stop him
I didn’t tell anyone he was waving the gun
He didn’t use it that day
The person it was being waved at had enough sense to run
I told about the sex in the halls
They laughed in my face
And told me to get out of the hall
I was pissed so I went and smoked a joint
I walked down the hall
And saw a kid passed out
Beaten in the hall
They laughed as they watched him fall
How did this go unnoticed in the hall
I heard many girls scream
As they pissed fire
They then talked about cream
I laughed at their discomfort
I joked about them needing cream
I gave back a little of what I got
I took her cream
I smoked a joint
Sitting right next to her
And she never knew
Why were we so blind in high school?
