Again, many times, the reader is able to read such wonder of what Addie wrote.
While reading in between the pages, it is evident that she is referring to close freinds in this poem. And she did and expressed it so well, and on her quest hoped to touch their soul, as she touched her own. I love this. My first time reading it, and sharing with those who care. Katie
My dearest loved ones Once, twice, Perhaps forever removed, It seems, For miles abridge us As the frontier Of pioneer days When distance Equalled years between us. Though it be 1982 It seems, since I've seen you, As long as years And just as far between Goodbye And hello again. I love you still. I long for more Of you than memory. As time waves Between us Melancholy sets in - Resides in my heart Betide the time We spend apart And I yearn to erase The sadness of another morrow When To dispose My tentative plans To hold hands With you again And look into your eyes.
Wherein lies Our always love Through years of being "close" But far apart. I am helpless In face Of what I cannot move That separates us. My dearest loved ones, Once, twice, But I wish never Forever removed.
I have to say that Jerry is correct and I often do this myself when thinking of friends. Excellant Katie.

Keeping her words, and indeed, herself alive must be so rewarding to you. I can only hope something similiar will come about after I am finished with this old world.
