I missed this poem Kate. Of the three it's the lovers' knot that prresents a greater challenge. The other parts have either a revealed
conclusion or a understood one. But I can feel the bump bump of the will as it turns, and I am fearful of the end. (something I cannot know - unless it is revealed) Hugs x Bill

These are so unique and special, I like the subject,and how i feel it relates to relationships....those of old and those in these progressive times......i guess human nature is human nature......and after that fact......well its a no brainer......we are what we are when it comes to affairs of the heart......We all emcompass various levels of being in our lives.....even hermits......ty for this........and making me think tonight!!! pax........A

This is some thought-provoking image...as far as poets go, Kate.
But in the Biblical sense...the "three fold cord" stands for
husband, wife, and God.
Perhaps this is why the POET'S "triangular wheel goes bump?"
Just thinking out loud, as your fine poetry makes me do.

I love part three...GREAT writing, Kate...I love the gap you maintain between two parts, for readers to get inside your poems...
The true story of Cheryl Pierson Cuccio who made headlines in 1986 and her husband Rob Cuccio. Cheryl was abused sexually and physically and Rob died for 43 minutes on Cheryl's 43rd birthday.
Sherlyn Powell opens up about her love and devotion to her family and the overwhelming repercussion when communication breaks down. Heartbroken and distraught she learns to release her prayer and realize with faith God would reunite her family.
She never felt safe at home as a young girl, and didn't understand why when she finally escaped she wasn't safe in the big wide world either ...effectively jumping out of the frying pan into the fire!
