fantastic! i started out thinking it was going to be a nice Autumn harvest sort of write and by the end you had me in chills. the progression is just excellent.

Dear Kate,

I like Carmen went back and read the other version, and must agree they are both excellentlly written. However, personally, I feel this one seems more powerful and certainly a deeper feelng of foreboding, A very disturbing and dark write Kate. Take care and God bless.

I just went back and read the other version. They're both good, but this one has a lot more power, and I'm not a good enough critc to tell you why that is, just that this version had heavier impact. Absolutely, great writing, Kate.

Yes.......I remember reading this one before.......
The same message of violation comes thru
both from the farmer and nature
very authentic feel.......somewhat disturbing.........
