I'm in a funny mood today... when am I not?! Although the subject matter may seem intimate, I am not actually writing personally - you may or may not be glad to hear!! The "poetic voice" can be a wonderful hiding place and all the world's a stage! :)) K xx

LET'S PLAY...

If I am a wet nurse then
you are a dry doctor,
inspecting my cervix
with an ungelled tool.

I let down my dew for you
but yours is withdrawn,
absorbed back into yourself
like a root in drought.

It's a one-sided tease,
leaving me stripped;
keeping me vulnerable.

My body, aching, screams:
"Not fair!" -
swollen with false pregnancy;
suffering the anticlimax
of an unfulfilled promise.

This union is stillborn,
the game abandoned.

Love aborted:
Misadventure or, perhaps,
foul play.

I just don't know what to say. Except "lose the Barbara Cartland." This is an interesting imaginative write, I'll say that for it.

Felix, you wouldn't want to know what comes and goes into my mind most of the time, and I don't think my muse is entirely to blame here! Interesting that it HAS brought out the chauvo in you, though! Nah, just kiddin - it's your protective Father's heart, I'll bet! Thanx, Pops! Actually, I've bin reading too much Barbara Cartland - is she big in America?! Pulp - no, dissolved - fiction over here... Thruppeny novel stuff... K xx

hmmmmmnnnn this is an intriquing write and I wonder if it's not from personel expereience who is the fiendish muse who put these subtle shades of borderline erotica into your pretty little head.( Excuse the chauvo line, lol)

Nice write though,

Ear oye, you up there, yes you Felix, don't go looking down 'ere at lille old me..

Play, most foul. Dr's and nurses, I remember those days. Infact I still play those days. Here come the boat docking, say's he..Mmmmm shocking, say's she.(bites tounge)

It sure is the most frustrating thing in the world when only one wants to come out to play.

Once my ex was up the duff, fun fun fun, was over and out.

Except to be used as a power game.

Can see her expectations of wanting to please and be happy, only to be rejected. Reminds me of the film, the man with two brains. Steve Martin..

Kleverly done Kate..
