I'd say to this powder-puff Madame Tussaud clay-face sooner rather than later (t)his realm I'll flee to be free
For all the migrant force he currys favour with gratuitous doles from the common coffers fee
To turn them into replica models of his own wax-works jamboree

Hullo "m" j hollingshead and Ron ! For once divided opinion. "m" thank you very much, I think you dig what's being said in "If I had a country: LII & LIII", so I'll explain some background info. These two stanzas in the sequence duplicate almost fully in spirit what Bob Dylan has expounded in the Carter case; there's here the one to one correspondence relevance. The persona in the poem suffers the same sort of victimization in the French milieu. The D.A. in the American case can be identified with the local wax-work powerful regional politician, and the jury in the former case is represented by the building administration authorities here. The role of the police in either case is identical. Both situations are similar in that Justice "in the Carter case" is a "game" being played out for the benefit of certain vested interests. Capito Ron? There's a strong connection to what has been historically developed in the "Poulet Roti, French Style" sequence, too. If the relevance becomes clear, I'd appreciate some feedback.
