For my writer friend. May these words bring you comfort and closure and for those who had to say, " Pass on By."

Does faith have to be such a lonely road?
Where is the fine line drawn?  I wonder.
Pass on by looser; you gave me up for dead.
Raised higher through word and deed,
you’ll never see where I am going.
For I will fly with like souls and minds.
Words meshed forever by two to make
one write. Penned with reality and mutual
affection to become symbolic to the uniqueness
of the one.  Pass on by. I am not dead.  For I live
drawn by that fine line that I walk between good and
evil.  For one’s good is another’s evil and the distinction
is clouded by the mysteries of both dark and light.
Both guide in their own ways.  One must succumb to the
other for the soul to live.  Love must overwhelm and carry aloft visions of a brighter day.  Erotic is my mind you say.
A bad thing I think not. For to give just to one a spirit of
attention to perfection can only elevate the eroticism
of my words and actions.  Perpetuate reality through words, as I live what I write, just because that is who I am.
A myriad of temptations and laughs. A humorist who is
not afraid to make you smile and search for your own inner good.  You passed that up for what? Youth you have over me but wisdom is lacking and knowledge will come with due time.  I will always laugh and make happy women’s hearts with just words and antics that breed respect and love as friends and lovers.
So pass on by my friend and search for your life.  I lift this glass to your quest and wish you fair ado.  Friends we are still. Hmm, I wonder why.  I did not let you crush me or the spirit of life that still stirs in my soul.  I can write you out and those who walked in my shoes can and do understand.  If that is faith, then I see.  I know the faith in One, and that is why I still walk that fine line as power still blesses these fingers.  Should I be like you
and run to whatever fancies my eyes?  I hold nothing against you and will always be around to hear of your adventures.  I will see my way to other friends and look deep into their eyes and understand their own lives.  So pass on by my friend, don’t bother to give me your charity, I will give you my own.  For you need it. I don’t.

To be ones self is the greatest gift we have to offer another, but if they don't want what we have to give, such a loss to both.

I hope your heart is on the mend, and you remember what you had - not what you lost. But, then, again, it is apparent that you already realize this "for you need it. I don't." (charity, that it)

Philosophical and also inquisitive in nature. Your prose poem softly establishes your views clearly, and precisely. Well done my friend!
Blessings ...
