Everyone holds a stone in their hands, yet the choice to throw it is contained within their own heart

I moved mountains ground to dust

Reborn given birth to new life, yet I am

Your sinner.  Looking into your eyes to

Mirrored reflections of pain and strife I

Took your life and molded it, nurtured it,

Watched it grow, yet I am your sinner. I forgave

You when you lied, when you stole away the

Breath in my lungs.  I burned lust and love into

Your forest, but you hid your trees from my sight.

You loved, yet hated life. Our love was illegitimate, sinful

And I was your sinner. My life was compromised to be

A blessing to your needs, I poured myself into your well

Spring only to be tainted by the poisons that emitted

From y
our own sins. Yet I am your sinner? I fell, but didn’t
Fail. I s
inned but didn’t die. You look at me with distain

As  I pass you b
y. There is ice in your veins as your eyes

Fill with fire. You forest i
s burning baby and yet I am your
Sinner. Cast the first stone if you m
ust but you can never

Cause me harm. For the stone you throw w
ill only break

The mirror that you are looking in and watch the shards

Fly l
ike axes to your trees leaving your forest devoid of

Life.

Love the last lines, they are very powerful. Thats right "for the stone you throw will only break the mirror you are looking in". Let the stone bounce back. :)

Jerry, this is one powerful piece. This is my favorite line, "For the stone you throw will only break The mirror that you are looking in," because it's so very true. Excellent, Jerry.
