Days and weeks, storms of life rise and pass away
leaving mind, strength, and time to make well a new day,
to take to task all the things that could become to do
without a hesitant of chore in witching which construe .
To set our course and thus divorce the lazy creep of bore,
which to be true is all the more what we here live therefore.
Not to contempt or uninvent the ways which are stead fast
but to make sure those things which please will always be to last.
Handing forward to a future thoughts and deeds well done,
pleasing time, mind and hands with what thought thusly spun,
to keep with life a living word, to word a living life,
avoiding drudge of thoughtless naught and bringing gifts to might.
