What a joyous occasion cute little bundles
Or is it? My lovely Sammi gone my heart
Baby boy arrives at 1am happy mommy
Time passes she looks stressed and is shaking
My poor girl needs help, make calls NOW
A rush to the vet for help, please HELP her
X-rays show more pups Sammi is so calm
Vet says she needs a C-section now I agree
Two hours later a call, come get one pup
The other may not make it or Sammi either
What are you saying? Another call, come back
The other pup is ready to go home? Stitches
This pup has been cut open? And stitched up
Why what happened no explanation comes
Sammi is going to have to stay much blood loss
Morning comes so sadly my sweet Sam gone
No it doesn’t happen like this go pick her up
Pups cry and need fed every two hours all night
Cremation I guess but this shouldn’t be happening
I love her babies but my beautiful Sammi Jo is gone!

Sorry for your lose and best wishes for her babies. They grow fast though. Was their any explainations given after everything settled? Lady J

I am so sorry for you loss of Sammi. I know she was loved so much! Your words written here are a great but sad write. I hope Lucky, Stitches and Charlie will do well. Our prayers are with you my friend.
You have me in tears over this stressful and depressing situation that should have been a celebration. I am torn between grief and sorrow for your Sammi, a good mother she would have been and they celebratory birth of her precious pups.......
TJ, my heart goes out to you. My prayers too! I'm so thankful you have puppies, even though nothing can ever replace Sammi...I pray the pups will survive and thrive. Stay well!
My deepest sympathies go out to you for your loss, no words can do justice to your feelings but this poem is a beautiful tribute to your pet's memory.

How very, very sad, Theresa. Sammi must have been such a wonderful friend ... that's what they are, aren't they: our best friends. I wish you and yours lots of courage and hope Lucky will bring you luck, Stitches will make you go into stitches and Charlie ... well, may be be a Good Man.
And Sammi Jo. May she go straight to the Happy Hunting Grounds and be in peace and without pain.
