Silence all about I get up
Then walk out into the darkness
Pine needles beneath my bare feet
As though guided blindly
I step out into the great abyss of trees
I hear sounds but can't distinguish what they say
Slowly making my way through
The surrounding forest
To the mountain edge,
I look out at the deep valley below
Then without a thought or a care, just there
My eyes look up to the millions of stars
In the sky above
I close my eyes and I send you out a wish of love
Leaving it in the winds care
To carry this home to you
