Having a discussion on Media, and How People of Color are Portrayed, when a Crime is commited brought this Poem about.

              Who Killed Huey

Platinum Dreams , Lead Reality’s Black men’s Blood Runs to Freely

On the street.

Society’s, over technologies , intellectualized asleep.. spilling over on the street.

Working class footprints in blood, running from the overpriced economy’s.

Political lies, People under their feet,

Who killed Huey?

Someone, everyone ,but no one looses sleep

It’s a Mystery ,so they say,

Huey set out to feed ,an teach, lunch counter marching chanting to be free,

And in the end,

When there’s no one to listen to you

Act on your ideas…

Care about education

Your frustration.

When everybody’s dream failed

And no ones Dream is any better

Or productive that the next followers

And ‘’by any means‘’… means Literally

Hoeing in the street to eat,

Or sucking off the Boss to spit out Hunger.

To feed the Landlord.

Boredom courses their Veins. the definition of ‘’Youth’ ’is Recycled music hairstyles + Gunpowder,

their Blood and Heart is on the street.

Who killed Huey. ’’Dr Huey P. Newton’’ The frailty’s and Flaws of a Man.

Genius of an Innovator, Heart of a Black Panther.

Spoken about on the News like a Criminal, mentioning  Drug, use So much blood, from his head ,they said

covered almost 15 feet in diameter around his body,

as Huey lay eternal sleep on  Concrete.

When martin/Malcolm’s Soul Picked him up taking him to a place to rest in peace. As his wife cries silently, resting apart of his sprit under the pillow with her tears

Where she sleeps.

Who killed Huey YO!?

The same people he set out to feed,

 educate and free.

Collectively we bear the shame
for poor and blacks who suffer pain
the civil war is not yet ended
its waves wash forth
on those descended
from that time
to our own
still the underclass will groan
struggling through their lives alone.
