I hope this inspires all who read it, as much as it inspired me to write it.

Breathe the Light
The day awoke with a promise of joy,
filtering through the atmosphere.
The old ivory hue stretching far;
casting its sweet soft light
and warmth upon the land,
through vale and mountain.
To me a golden eye,
peeping through a finger's breadth,
between the curtains drawn;
urging me to waken,
to touch it's glory,
feel its warmth seep within,
breathe the light that
invigorates the senses.
To rouse the spirits on a dawn so pure,
intoxicating....
stimulating the mind
like a much needed tonic,
bringing to the fore
cultivating thoughts,
emotions and feelings
which were asleep,
deep in the unconscious,
now awake ...
vivifying the being as a whole.

Elga, this is a beautifully penned piece about the awakening morn. There is nothing I love more than getting up, just before the sun rises and sitting on the edge of a dock, watching the magnificence.

Beautiful work, Elga, like a soft whisper that speaks loudly to the heart.
This is most inspiring and beautiful, Elga. There is something new and refreshing about the dawn, as though it is offering us a fresh start.
