"Lifes'

 Acronyms"

 Stinging words
That cut through me
Understanding naught - foolishly
Pathetic figure that
Instills
Discord!

She
Uttered
Simple words
Plainly
Inspired, but was
Chastened
In tones
Offhanded, causing her
Unseen
Sadness
Incredibly
Naive,
She's
Eluded by
Confidence,
Undermining her
Resilience, although,
Intuition
Tells her
Instinctively,
Ensuring her
Self worth

"Ali, Mere humsafar,
Mujhe tumse pyar hai, bahut, Sanam
Mere dard ko mitao, tum mere meet ho Elga"

Inadvertently she

Allowed her

Massacred heart to

Slip through

Openly, and

Reflect her

Radical insecurities, and she

YELLED !

Find the strength to

Overcome the

Resentment that

Grows within.

Include

Voluntarily the

Essence to

Nullify now, the

Enraged, but yet

Sensitive

Soul

A heartfelt rendering, Elga. You take us through a journey of her moods and her mental trials, so smoothly and vividly.

I can SO relate to your words, brilliantly woven, to evoke and awaken the truth that resides inside all of us: We are beautiful, regardless of the uglies that are thrown at us. Life's Acronyms is cleverly crafted with hidden messages inside the big truth.

This is such an insightful and true piece that I think will ease the burden of a lot of people who grew up in a verbally abusive home. They need this reminder.

Thank you,
Felix
