The images stream,
Reading haunting comments,
Of a girl bouncing in her chair,
Excited and giggling,
Clapping her hands so enthusiastically.
They spread a smile across a face,
That is tired from crying,
Yet the tears continue to fall,
Not so painfully,
But in memory,
Of a childlike harmony,
She shined.
Yet part of me fears the day,
When the comments will fade away,
Deleted for good,
Forgotten,
As new members unaware,
Stream in to share,
And to be part of,
A family.
Some will always remember,
But some will never know,
Of the beautiful woman,
With a soul of gold,
Who brought acceptance,
And gentle sunsets,
To a world ruled,
By daylight,
And the deep dark
Of night.
