Peter, this is a lovely prayer.
One of my core values. Honesty is one of the most important virtues to master, and with it wisdom and discretion as to how best to appropriate it. (Not good to be "too honest" with everyone. Lots of immature, judgmental, hypercritical people in this world -- the average Christian is the worst -- Pastor Steve Thurman taught me that in his series "A KILLER CALLED LEGALISM" -- you can listen to it online at www.fbccs.org under Resources/1995, or read Swindoll's book "THE GRACE AWAKENING". Oswald Chambes also noticed the quick-to-condemn propensity of most Christians -- see his exhortation "The Uncritical Temper / My Utmost For His Highest".)
