Despair
by Amelia Peterson

Monday, September 20, 2004

The following poem depicts the silent anguish and desperate despair a being experiences while under the influence of satanic forces, leaving them vulnerable to irrational behavior.

Paranoia strikes deep into the dark of mind
whispers haunt of worried doubts
What ifs, and mistrust like dirty secrets
that overrun with shame and guilt
Silent tears no one sees
behind facade of mystery
Where torture aches of damned decree
enshrouds a cape of blackness
Despair overwhelms any spark of life
for who, would really care
Prayers and pleas said on your knees
lost into the blackness
Your only thought that last remains
to reach for the pills, the bottle, the gun
Whatever means to create it undone
and escape the world as you know it
The devil gleams and collects the soul
scheming, one less light… in the world

Article on the modern day epidemic and crisis of suicide

The author Peter Paton has written this humanitarian article based on his own experiences and contacts with families of tragic suicide cases , to address the growing scourge of suicide in today's modern society .

Causes

It is my considered belief that suicide is the manifestation of dark and satanic forces that temporarily possess a troubled and despairing mind .

This theory is based on the inexplicable and irrational nature of suicide cases , where no tangible motive or cause can be establiished or determined as the root cause of suicide .

The principal form of attack being in my opinion , the creation of a dark personal vacuum in the victim's mind , heart and soul .

Stripping the victim of all self esteem , hope and inner peace , leaving them susceptible and vulnerable to the evil suggestion and influence of suicide , as the only exit from their seemingly hopeless and despairing set of circumstances .

Solution

The author has had personal contact with the families of suicide victims , and has noted and observed common denominators in such tragic and devastating cases .

The common denominators being the victims are withdrawn , depressed , lonely , and with little or no lines of communication anymore with their friends and families , or the outside world .

Conversely in some cases , the victims are outgoing , seemingly successful and contented people , who without warning , or evidential reason , suddenly decide to take their own lives , another pointer to a malign force being active and influential in these irrational cases of suicide .

The author believes this modern day epidemic of suicide cases has to be urgently addressed by the relevant authorities around the world , and has to be treated as a form of psychiatric possession or instability , initiated by external malign forcers or influences .

The establishment of a global suicide watch grid and network , with specially trained counsellors , offering a radical , confidential treatment and advice programme is absolutely crucial , with a concentrated focus and emphasisi on the spiritual and psychological elimination of the dark and malign forces that are in my opinion instigating the epidemic and crisis of modern day suicide .

Dear dear Peter, you are so painfully correct! An [ex] son-in-law of mine, killed himself with a rifle, just 3 feet in front of his wife and children! [my daughter and 3 of my grandchildren, after months and months of terrorizing and tortuous behaviors. At one point, I did get him to accept Christ, and he was even baptized! But shortly, thereafter, he poor soul became tormented again; he told my daughter he heard satan [and his other demons]talking to him, telling him to do these horrid things. He actually had these same four, as well as, my husband and myself, locked in, at gunpoint, some 7 years before! [on Oct. 31st, for the record] Before the gun appeared, I spoke directly to him - his eyes rolled up in his head, until all that was showing were the whites; and the voice from hell, all distorted, said, "I don't want to talk to YOU!" [I had just read Scriptures out loud for a solid hour, on the trip over there! That is HOW I learned to engage in Spiritual Warfare!] Then, when "it/they" couldn't have what it/they wanted, a different voice and demon, Intimidation, spoke up and said, "Then I'll just go kill myself!" I said, "Go! In the name of Jesus!" "They" [legion] left, ran into the woods, and were eventually trapped and caught by the police. The host was placed into jail...but released entirely too early [his mother STALKED/THREATENED my daughter, and she consented out of FEAR! - yes, that IS a story in itself, Peter, you're right] Years passed...the bad behavior and sometimes horrifying actions, continued. Finally, my daughter could not bear up any longer [thank you, LORD! although, we still loved this poor young man, who was so traumatized by his "father"[a certified menace to society, Peter! it's so base and vile what happened to that child] AND a mother that sucked the very life out of him, day by day. Anyways, eventually he WAS diagnosed as Schizophrenic, Bi-polar, Manic Depressive. He took dozens of consecutive grand mal seizures once, when intoxicated - it's all so ugly, but true...and heart-wrenching...and unnecessary!

You and I both know, Peter, that DESTRUCTION is satan's ultimate goal, especially, of the human [host] he is using as his servant....I LITERALLY APPLAUD YOU, MY BROTHER, FOR THE PRICELESS WORK YOU ARE DOING FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD!

At some future time [LORD-willing], I will post a work that evolved from his final action....just for the record, with all my heart, I believe we WILL see him in heaven......I cite Matthew 10:39. "..HE WHO LOSES HIS LIFE FOR MY SAKE, SHALL FIND IT." He had ONE MOMENT OF CLARITY before he pulled the trigger [rifle under his chin]; he looked at them all, and then decided. Otherwise, as the Police Chief said, it would've been a bloody massacre. In this, we take our peace.
Love and prayers - and a mother/grandmother's thankful heart, to you, Mr. Peter Paton. ~Rhonda

Peter,
Excellent Poem and Article on a
touchy subject. I have been in the mental hospital many times for
attempted suicide. I have outgrown that "phase" of my life though.
(At least I hope!) I believe the Devil was in me for a long, long time.
Take care.

first let me say that the poem was real, it felt real
and the article both was informative a very touchy hard subject to address.....because it is so real so final
what I have learned is most surving suicides want what we believed was the peace that death is suppose/does bring, we don't want to be dead confusing I know....wrote a poem Second Breath don't know if it is here but there is a line in it that says "I want your wings but don't want death" that is so true about appearing to be well and fine to others but inside bearing a pain that is trully unreal but we/or the victim is lost inside of the depression it is like a force stronger than one-self that really has a tight grip or tight watch on you and no matter what it is that comes along has some kind of way of twisting it into a negative wrote Third Times the Charm a short story about this....in a sort-of-fictional way
but lots of truth to it
peace-out and thank you both for sharing

Go Peter and Amelia! No fudgey grey here: totally black and white in terms of your assertions, but in no way judgmental or brow-beating! And I totally endorse your findings. Having had a near-death encounter years' ago, I can give testimony to the sharp spiritual focus you can have at that time and I know that a true spirit of death was at work in me - and I truly believe it was cast out of me through prayer - at which time a turning point came in my diagnosis so that I could receive help. I was sick, not suicidal, but the same principal applies in respect of spiritual activity. We are so unaware, by enlarge, that life is so spiritually governed - but it is the whole premise on which I base my world-view. I stand with you on this one and applaud your respectful and concerned outspokenness. Very well done! Thank you. Kate xx

The thought of suicide is a personal evil that infiltrates one's mind. Almost as though the magnet for self destruction can be turned on and off, until finally it's force grows so strong that one can't pull away, and making it's victim believe that it's the only power worth adhereing to.
Great compilation between the two of you to shed a light on a very dark matter.

Whoo! This one is something that the late Vincent Price would love to have recorded for a voiceover. Nice thing about it is that no matter how dark, people like you are always there with a hand outstretch, offering another chance. This is deep man, truly deep. Thank you for being brave enough not to hold back the ripping words that make all the difference,

Amy, this a very powerful poem, and Peter, you hit the nail on the head as for as I am concerned. Demonic oppression is real and not to be messed with. If we were all able to put on our spiritual eyes and see beyond this dimensional world, we would be shocked at the manifestations. Having lost a cousin to this and two friends at work as well. I am well aware of what you speak of. Though they be naysayers, darkness is indeed real.

Very informative and interesting write! Well done, Peter and Amy! BRAVO! BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(

I used to feel this way (especially after my mother died 14 1/2 years ago), but I am happy to say I never acted out my wishes. I was too chicken, for one thing, and I didn't want to hurt my family or my friends by taking my own life. I never want to get to that point again; once was more than enough!

WOW--what a stunning collaboration! too many are resorting to ending it all when things seem bleakest--because they don't see a way out of the mess their life has become.

i used to feel that way, but now i write my way out of the pain. if things get that bad again (and who's to say they won't), and writing doesn't help, i'll go talk to someone and pray like crazy. it can't stay dark forever.

thank you for penning this powerful piece--prayer is another option to consider, to bind these demons of suicide off of our populace.

(((HUGS))) and love, karla.
