If life was not lived as Love Imagined
We would become purposeless,
Not people bursting with compassionate action
We would be empty
Not full of life
Devoid of real meaning
Pointless, dreary
If no one needed us
We would grow cold
And inevitably old
Nothing to keep us young, living life tenfold!
If life wasn’t lived as love imagined
We could not see the beauty
Surrounding us, abundant within….
We wouldn’t lift our eyes to the limitless skies
Or, open our hearts to immeasurable joys.
We would miss all things worth living…
Instead, view life as a hard road unforgiving.
However, if we look for the gold in the silver lining of life struggles
See deeply with caring eyes brimming wonder
We would then find ourselves
Living life as Love Imagined!
