Life feels fine loving love
Hurting love is so unkind

Not love at all, it takes and takes
Until the heart no longer breaks

To build a bridge
Then tear it down

To offer hope
Then be a clown

Makes Love’s fool
A fool of love

Leaving me to seek the real stuff

"Ain't nothing like the real thing, baby." Now you know what you want! Heartbreak helps us to separate the wheat from the chaff. Plant that seed and in a real field of love you'll have a harvest of golden grain. We're all looking for that heart of gold. May you find your heart's desire, Suzie!

Better to have love and be loved and then letting go than to have not love or loved at all. Love it and lived it. My best, Gloria

Love is all, Suzie. But it's got to be the "right" kind of love. I may have posted this to you before but someone put love to me this way:

"Love has a different tune: I love you, therefore you are free to do as you wish. My love says you cannot do any wrong in my sight. My love says you cannot hurt me for it would not wish to make you responsible for the way I feel. My love says I am here for you if you want me, or I can be gone if that is what you wish. My love does not depend on your performance to exist - it depends entirely on a choice I make, moment by moment. My love accepts that you may even come to hate me for what I am and it is strong enough not to compromise itself to please you. My love cannot be manipulated. My capacity to love is infinite and is not bound by your feelings or desires."

Love, peace, and hugs to you, Suzie,

Regis

If you can't find real true love in this world, it is better to go without...
Rest easy in the One who will never let you down...

That's very true. People are better off unloved than to get the kind of 'love' you describe.

I don't think anyone could offer anything more real then your heart Suzie, your love shows with every write you do and I know your passion for life is strong.

We girls seem to have arrived at the same place lately. Guess that's part of the Muse we share so well. I admire your heart and convictions.

Suzie, I'm sad to see you have been hurt and let down...sometimes, it seems, it's best not to be looking...but to just stay occupied, and wait for the big surprise! You're young and beautiful - it won't be long, dear! I'll say a little prayer for yoru heart to heal, okay?
