One of your best ones. Love cuts like a knife is a great statement. It may be true that there is pain in these words but she who speaks them is also aware that pain is only a means to an aim. (To create/a great/ much needed new song) Very beautiful.

I think this is a great poem Suzie, it neither negative of positive connotations but merely musings andI sense a hope that a new song is possible but still pain makes you just a little gunshy. Well done.
