The loss of transport A life-changing strain Especially to one who can’t run in the rain
When what we take for granted Is seized away Due to troubles and stumbles of other’s forays The loss is highlighted plain as day
To depend on another Is a trust given true Do with it what Love would do Trust that is golden Is deserving And clear To be cared for and respected Year after year
Wise words indeed, ...when feelings of helplessness are around it is a great gift to be able to trust someone and know that it is well founded. Reflective write Suzie. Panda :)
"The loss of transport
A life-changing strain
Especially to one who can’t run in the rain"
These lines speak implicitly of immobility and I guess to someone who has no use of their legs would have to trust all laws of causality, in relation to cause and effect, and rely on compassionate interdependence to be transported emotionally and spiritually as well as physically by a person in trust. In kind, Suzie...
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
