Senryu and poem...

Oh there, bitter neem
Sweet mangoes were meant to grow
In loving-kindness

It’s hard to love the one who hates
And hate that one for loving hate
Instead of creating life commemorate
This love who hates prefers life irate

Exhausting it is
T
o continue finding some bliss
Amid a mess where misery lives

Shattering the heart to pieces
Once more
With promises again fallen to the floor

Oh innocent child living within
When are you going to stop dying for him?
His pain is too great to love akin
In letting him be, you’ll be setting him free

To find his wings
And fly with glee
On his own, across every shore
Settling when he has uncovered love for
sure

bootleggers, gigolos, icemen, gladiators, bullfighters, prizefighters, the patriarchal squirrelcage treadmill, there are more respectable and satisfying ways for a woman to spend her time, with no mental conflicts as they impair social usefulness and happiness. Love has its own instinctive invasions and deceits. This poem is a poster child for celibacy, Suzie.

Oh sweet Suzie you know all too well the pain of love and the joy of love, the lovers that are sweet as grapes and the ones who are sour grapes. This write breathes life into broken romance. Hugs.
