When we expect from another We let ourselves down All that is fulfilling Lives within our own hands
Projection of emotions Distorts our clarity Misgivings and disappointments Comes from a heart that doesn’t see
All that is within, lives supreme amongst our kin Equal with our brother, all our sisters, and beloveds In our hearts, our very gifts, of life and love and hope In our hearts, a treasure lives, to share, to give, and float
