Writing a poem
Like going for a walk
Helps the mind relax
Breathe, pause, fly

Writing a poem
Replaces a walk
For some of us
It’s easier to talk

But bottoms get sore
With sitting galore
No matter how interesting
Work is for

So if unable
To get up from the table
Use your mind: create a tale
Just might be a fantastic fable
Anyhow, believe you’re able!

Suzie, writing rids the mind of things we dream about, things we never dared tell another in person, zest of living, etc. A nice poem!

Love it, and the art of writing is tied to the desk these days unless you are one of those fortunate enough to hava a laptop. Paper and pen doesn't seem to work no matter how much I punch Enter.
