‘No Words’ poem is in sorrow and compassion for the horrific shooting in Newtown, America... (Thank you Andrew Murrell for the use of your photo to convey this message)
Last night I was filled to overflow with all the words...the babble, until I had to deaden the noise...just to absorb the reality of it all. I can't say I understand the 'why' of this madness but my quiet world was able to grieve for the children, their families, their school, the principle and the first responder's that first faced the carnage.
That for me was the value of 'No Words.'
Peace,
Dan
Agree completely. If this latest carnage doesn't awaken us, nothing will. Keeping guns away from the immature, from psychopaths, and from the seriously depressed and mentally ill is basically a mental health issue, with education and understanding from law enforcement, educational institutions, and in homes makes it a joint societal problem.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
That for me was the value of 'No Words.'
Peace,
Dan
