A place I am fortunate to visit on a somewhat regular basis.
Along the Riviera the sun begins to rise Ancient buildings all aglow in Picasso’s morning light Fisherman in bright orange coats Haul in their daily catch At the docks they tie their boats And clean their tattered nets The open market greets the day The pungent scent of ripened Cheese Farmers, butchers, bakers Simple pleasures, tasty treats Edwin Dante Larson Copyright ©2003-2004 Edwin Dante Larson
