After reading Ed M's Post (War & Peace) it really hit me..I wanted to Re-post some Lryics to a song I had written a while back..I hope you don't mind.

The ashes of the soldiers
are scattered in the wind
They kiss the sky and wave goodbye
to a war they’d never win
And mother Teresa’s flying
on wings of gilded gold
Her tears fall from the clouds above
crashing to the ground below

The same sad song keeps playing
The story never ends
Where hearts and minds
and human lives
Are lost to greed and evil men

Bodies of the children
lie rotting in the sun
Their disease paid for the feast
of all you lucky ones
While safe inside your houses
sheltered from the storm
The deepest thought is what you’ve got
and when to buy some more

When the song finally stops playing
And silence fills the air
You’ll be lost without
a voice to tell you what to think
what to drive how to look what to wear

And the Angels are all dying
their tattered wings too old
To carry so much burden
and fill such empty souls

In the coldest darkest hour
you'll curse the stars above
Through hate and fear
you'll never hear
the last Angel's song of love

I certainly don't mind, wish I did see this sooner, sorry it took so long to get to it! A painful message in these words...Find peace, Ed & rufuz

Insiteful and true, just like many fellow poets - the world is in need of healing and I believe that the poets and others who help others see things in a different way -through spoken/written word and song - are receiving messages at a time when we need them the most.

Just a thought...
