NOBODY? Somebody?..bodybodybody!!! That's right..,. Eat me grammar police!!!!...:)

Some think the answer lies deep inside their cryptic minds
Determined not to realize things they pass and leave behind
All that it comes down to
Each moment in the sun
leads their days to darker ways

'Till finally
Nobody

Can care about the same things Prove that they’re not blind
Or show some proof there’s so much more to find
All that it comes down to
Every answered prayer
Will slice away the sacrifice

'Till finally
Nobody

Matters in the frame of time or even circumstance
Even if they're both combined to foil the given chance
And finally
Reality

Routine tasks endured
Each untaught lesson learned
The fire inside rages o’er the water

Through the maze of empty souls
Back to the cashier
Across the room Breaking the mood
With your smiling eyes
and long dark hair

'Till finally
Nobody

Could ever shine like you. Could ever fill my life
Could do the things you do those extra miles
All that it comes down to
Every answered prayer
Does slice away the sacrifice

‘till finally
Somebody’s there

Yeah, Somebody’s there

Bingo! Yep, finally the lights go on and you're REALLY alive! :)) Love the unique ways in which you have presented this awakening and the what you have been awakened from. Very pumping finale. Spoken from the heart of a true Cool, it seems to me... someone abreast of the ways of the world and ever subliminally watchin it tick whilst yet ploughin his own furrow. Love the lines: "Each moment in the sun leads their days to darker ways" and "Every answered prayer will slice away the sacrifice" - mystical and arcane. TY Kate xx

I'm reading this from an internet cafe in London. You've written two poems in as many days and I suspect that you might be missing me as much as I miss you... ;-)
I'm really impressed with this one. It is so totally different to anything you've written before.

I love you Cuddles!!!
...and YES, somebody's there...always will be...

This poem has a depth to it that transends the norm. You take us through the rqages of life and, at the end, you make things all right. Good.
