If not for thorns there'd be no rose

If not for dreamers there'd be no prose 

If not for rain there'd be no rainbows arc

If not for noise there'd be no meadow lark

If not for dirty diapers there'd be no tots

If not for dirt we'd need no flower pots

If not for bees there'd be no honey

If not for jobs there'd be no money

If not for age we'd have no youth

If not for manners we'd have no couth

If there's good then there is bad

If there's  happy then there is sad

The world is spinning round and round

So keep one foot balanced on the ground.
